As part of the program, a Divine Liturgy was solemnly and offered as a form of thanksgiving of the community. Then followed by a simple numbers form the children, youth, and adult members of the community.
Rev. Fr. Chrysostom's message:
For the children:
"God is so good to us... we reach this far and now you are here with us journeying in faith. We are so thankful to God, He gave you to us. You are indeed gifts to us and to this Church. What can I advice to all of you is that read, read and study now that you can already read and understand. Study the faith that we have receive learned. from the Orthodox Church. Look at me now, I am here because I started reading when I was a child. Because of continues of reading of anything, it might be books, pamphlets, etc.. I learn many things and still learning. And I found the truth by searching, reading and studying and now imparting what I have learned. Come on, you can do it precious children of God in this community."
For the youth:
"Start practicing the truth. Be bold. Don't be timid. Saint Paul said to Timothy in 1 Timothy
4:12 - Let no man despise thy truth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. You are suppose to lead now. When I was thirteen (13) I became the president of the Youth Ministry of this community. During our days, we can already help defending what we believed. We were able to help in sharing the truth in other places without any single centavo in our pockets. Youth, you can do better than us because you are now in the TRUTH. Use the modern technology that you have now in sharing the Good News. Another thing is that, we (your parents) are still alive, and still able to support you morally, physically, and spiritually. Youth stand up! Come on. You can do it. God is with us!"
For the Adults/Parents/Grandparents
"Don't surrender our children. Continue to inculcate in them the Orthodox Faith - the TRUTH while we are still present with them. Try to consider this Stephana and Onesimus, you have three daughters and may be from among them, we can raise nuns, right? Or in the family of Antonia and Constantinos, you have five sons, also maybe from them we may have priests! Or may be from my children someone will follow my footsteps. So dear parents, continue teaching our faith to our dear children. We need to see them walking in the right way even we are no longer with them physically. They are the ones who will continue what we have received from the Orthodox Church. That's why please, let us continue sharing with our family the Orthodox Life. God is in our side!"
For Everybody:
"I am happy because Philippines is becoming Orthodox. As far as I know, I am the third Orthodox priest here in Bicol Region. First is Fr. Vencencius Escarcha. Second is Fr. Geroge Daligdig and third is me (via Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople) and the fourth is Fr. Raphael "Jeffrey" Garcia (under the jurisdiction of Antochian Patriarchate). We are all Bicolanos and praise God, two of them are from Gubat - our place. Hold on, even we don't have yet the church building that we are praying for so long, we have the Orthodox faith, THE TRUE CHURCH... Let us continue praying for one another... Let us continue sharing the Truth...Let us continue in our journey with Him...Let us walk our talk. Keryie Eleison!"
